My 2024 New Years resolution was to be on my phone less and read more. Despite the craziness this year has brought, I was able to read 43 books in between school, grave shifts, and all the other things life had in store. I'm pretty content with that! I had my fair share of historical fiction/nonfiction books surrounding the topics of scuba, nautical adventures, and pirates as par for the course with this page. For every book, I included at least one memorable quote. Some of my favorites include: "Tis a pity to spoil a good mate by making him a master- In the Heart of the Sea", " Many dead divers have been found inside shipwrecks with more than enough air remaining to have made it to the surface. It is not that they chose to die, but rather that they could no longer figure out how to live- Shadow Divers", and " But for sure, we are not born to be dragged along. We can grab the strings ourselves and adjust our course at every crossroad, or take off at any little trail into the unknown. -Kon Tiki". Much love all!

This past weekend has been such a great experience! I was able to do a try dive on a Mark V! A dream come true! Not only did I get a better understanding of the operation of this amazing piece of dive history, but I also made several new friends along the way! A huge shout out to all the divers who made it possible and for coordinating this event. There will be more pictures to come🐡🐠🐟🦈

Today marks my 18th Diaversary. 18 years with diabetes hasn't been easy, but it sure as hell hasn't stopped me yet. A huge shout out to all my friends, family, and girlfriend for being there for me through all of the literal and metaphorical highs and lows. Love yall❤️❤️❤️
