The Fighting Handgun Concepts (FHC) is perfect for you!

This goes far beyond standard square range training where the shooters mainly "just stand & deliver".

In my experience, defensive gun use is rarely just standing still and shooting.

In reality, when Evil attacks, there are all sorts of movements.
Bad people tend to move.
You, the person suddenly in a fight, tend to move instinctually, as movement and distance is life.
There is ducking, running, jumping, falling and getting back up, ground fighting if you can't get up, and more - often explosively.

Yet, such is not common in many gun courses.

"Stand and Deliver" has become common in training while not often realistic. Having lived through this, we at Defenders USA incorporated such things into many of our classes long ago, as we want our students to learn and experience this in training instead of experiencing the shocking, discombobulating violence for the first time in the middle of a real defensive fight.

So, if your skills are such that you can already shoot, and can handle a gun safely, this might be the perfect continuation of your defensive and gun education and growth.

The Fighting Handgun Concepts is a careful, thoughtful, systematic approach to foster skills growth in ways to use a gun defensively that more mimics reality.

We're excited to introduce Defenders University, an immersive 8-day training experience unlike anything Defenders USA has offered before.

If you've ever looked at advanced training and thought, "I'm not ready for that," this program was built with you in mind.

You don't have to arrive as an advanced shooter.

If you're committed to learning, start on Day One and we'll develop you every step of the way. The first four days are intentionally designed to build the skills, confidence, and judgment you'll need for the advanced training that follows.

We're also excited to welcome Jeremy Horn to the instructional team. A pioneer of modern mixed martial arts with more than 120 professional fights, Jeremy will lead the practical combatives portion of the advanced curriculum alongside Adam Winch's fi****ms and tactical instruction.
