Spelling Bee Champions in 3 languages.
Our Foreign Language Department recently wrapped up the 2nd Annual BFCS Foreign Language Spelling Bee in Spanish, French, and Latin, and the talent on display was incredible.
Students competed through classroom, section, and final rounds, spelling level-appropriate vocabulary in their target language. It took focus, preparation, and confidence to make it to the top.
This year’s winners:
Spanish (Profe Serrato): Channing Prickett
French (Mme. Mesa): Gabi Dierken
Latin (Mr. Davis): Brady Molnar
Our Latin winner received his certificate and gift card shortly after the ceremony.
We are proud of every student who participated and represented our Foreign Language Department so well.
¡Felicidades! Félicitations! Gratulor!

All-State excellence, on full display. 🎻✨
We are incredibly proud of Avalinda Wagener (Violin) and Caleb Rohner (Band) for representing BFHS at the AMEA All-State Festival—joining Arizona’s top student musicians on one of the biggest stages.
After days of intensive rehearsals and performance, their growth, discipline, and passion truly shined. Moments like these reflect what it means to pursue what is good, true, and beautiful.
