Today I loaded up both bunnies and ferret for their annual checkups.

The verdict?
Everyone got a clean bill of health!

Well… almost.

Blue was informed that while he is perfectly healthy, he appears to be carrying around a very impressive “dad bod.”

Blue would like everyone to know that he isn't overweight—he is simply extra fluffy and maybe skinny impaired.

The vet also recommended that Blue’s bunny pellets be very slowly reduced. And by very slowly, she meant that if we take them away too quickly, Blue will “likely burn this school down with his behavior.” (Actual quote! lol)

His love for snacks is strong, and apparently so is his ability to hold a grudge. 😂💙🐰 These bunnies!! 🤦‍♀️

Side note: there was a bit of confusion on the yellow markings on Bun. Bunnies don’t have yellow paint on them normally! 🤔

One of the best compliments we can receive is when our alumni choose to come back—not just for a visit, but for the entire summer.

There's something incredibly special about seeing former students walk back through our doors, a little taller, a little older, and full of stories to tell! We love watching them grow long after they've left our classrooms!

Once you're part of our school family, you're always a part of our school family!

A special shoutout to the mom and dad who understands that some days their child arrives with a little extra personality... and they arrive with baked goods. 🍪😂

We're not saying homemade treats erase tantrums, dramatic floor performances, strong opinions, or Oscar-worthy meltdowns, but we're also not NOT saying that!

Today's lesson: You can't negotiate with a toddler, but apparently her parents know how to negotiate with teachers. Well done! 😆

Thank you for the sweet surprise and for having such a great sense of humor. We love your little one—even on the days when her emotions are bigger than her body! ❤️

Twenty-four years ago, you came into my life and made it brighter, louder, sassier, busier, and definitely more dramatic. Watching you grow into the incredible woman you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

You love deeply, work hard, and show up for the people you care about. You are kind, determined, hardworking, truly funny, deeply loyal, and fierce. I couldn't be prouder of the person you've become.
Of course, somewhere along the way, you committed the ultimate offense—you moved away from your mom to be with "the boy." 😏 While I'm still accepting applications for a replacement daughter nearby, I have to admit that seeing you so happy and loved makes it a little easier.
I miss you more than you know, but I love watching you build a beautiful life of your own. (Including mowing the lawn!)

No matter how far away you are, you'll always be my little girl, and I will always be your biggest fan.
