Coach Bowie is very excited to join the Bulldog golf program and add this coaching opportunity to his resume. Coach Bowie currently teaches at Queen Creek High School and will be entering his 23rd year in education, teaching both physical education and special education. Coach Bowie is also a member of QCHS softball coaching staff.
Coach Bowie brings more than 25 years of coaching experience at both the high school and youth levels in baseball and softball, along with more than 40 years as a dedicated golfer and student of the game. While Coach Bowie's formal coaching background is not in golf, his experience developing student-athletes, building positive team cultures, and mentoring young people translates seamlessly to a golf program. Throughout his coaching career, he has emphasized fundamentals, mental toughness, sportsmanship, and personal responsibility, qualities that are especially important in an individual sport like golf.

As a lifelong golfer, Coach Bowie has a strong understanding of course management, rules and etiquette, practice routines, and the mental aspects of competition. He is comfortable teaching the fundamentals of grip, stance, alignment, the short game, and putting, while also helping athletes develop confidence, focus, and resilience under pressure.
