As they start to close out their time in 4th grade, these Falcons got to put their engineering skills to use yesterday. With marshmallows, toothpicks, and a ruler they set off to construct tall, sturdy towers that fulfilled the challenges set before them.

Yesterday our Falcons participated in Pop-Up day! They had the opportunity to travel with their class to visit a couple of the classrooms in the grade level above them. They learned about next school year, met some of the teachers, and played some fun games while visiting their new classrooms.

Another day, another couple of parent victories for the history books. What a great way to kick off the last week of school!

Congratulations to our 6th grade parents for bringing home two more victories today during the parents vs. 6th grade kickball games. The last two classes get their turn Monday. We can’t wait to see if the winning streak continues!

These kindergarteners loved working on their motor skills while playing “Cruise Ship” in P.E. yesterday. Mrs. Rowe and Coach Rose are so creative when creating fun activities for our Falcons!

Today it was 5th grade’s turn to show off their science skills. We were blown away by their projects! Thank you to the many visitors that stopped by to see their hard work.

We’re not surprised Mrs. Rice’s third graders loved this STEM activity. Who wouldn’t want to try building a miniature catapult during science?

Last week, Mrs. Farrow’s fifth graders learned about how much effort goes into cleaning up oil spills and what methods must be used to do so. They even got to give it a try themselves. What better way to learn than give it a try yourself!

Earlier this week our Student Council officers enjoyed a field trip to the state capital. They learned all about the history of the capital and how government works at the state level.
