I made Kelly and Einstein promise not to get me Mother’s Day flowers.

Why?

Because I already knew they were getting me a Giant Bird of Paradise and this wonderfully whacky Ponytail Palm instead.

Fast forward a few weeks…

Look at them now.

What started as a few new plants/trees has become a little tropical vignette in my front yard. 🌿

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It happens one day, one choice, one season of growth at a time.

The same is true of personal style.

Whether it’s a garden, a wardrobe, or your leadership presence, the most meaningful transformations aren’t created in a day. They happen with intention, consistency, and a clear vision of what you’re cultivating.

Great style isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about growing into greater alignment with who you are and how you want to show up in the world.

And as you can see, 🐾❤️‍🩹 Einstein, The Ambassador of Healing & H.O.P.E. couldn’t be more thrilled with the results, ha.

Happy Monday!

Speak With Impact Sunday: Respond, Don’t React

There is power in your tongue.

Your words can encourage and edify—or tear down and destroy.

Whether you’re speaking to yourself or to others, be mindful of the condition of your heart. Wounded people often wound people.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all until you’ve had time to process, heal, and respond rather than react.

Knowing how to communicate under pressure is one of the most important leadership skills you can develop.

Why do you agree with the following?

Your words reveal your character.

Your communication shapes your culture.

And your leadership leaves a legacy.

Worth noodling on this Speak with Impact Sunday, yes?

🥒 One Point at a Time: Pickleball Lessons on Mindset, Focus & Growth

It’s never over until it’s over.

Fun success this week?

We were down 5–0.

Discouraged?

You bet.

But you don’t win the game all at once.

You win it one point at a time.

One serve,
return,
decision, and
moment at a time.

Initially, there was some frustration which led to distraction. And as the distraction built, so did our deficit.

But we recalibrated.

As a team we chose to stay open to each other’s feedback which allowed us to stay present.

We kept playing, and chipped away at the deficit until we came back and…won!

Which really isn't the point of this post.

🦋Reflections from The Coach’s Corner:

A good reminder for life, leadership, business, and healing:

When the gap feels too big, don’t focus on the scoreboard.

Focus on the next point.

Because sometimes the comeback begins the moment you stop looking at how far behind you are and start giving your best to what’s right in front of you.

From last Motivation Monday, cheers to keepin’ your head in the game even when you’re down!

I love that I get to work with clients like this—and continue serving as a trusted advisor years after our initial engagement.

Recently, this executive flew to Arizona for a strategic lifestyle wardrobe refresh.

The objective wasn't simply to buy clothes.

It was to create a wardrobe system that supports his leadership, lifestyle, and personal brand.

✔️ Fresh, flattering fashion colors

✔️ Exceptional fit

✔️ Versatile pieces that work together effortlessly

✔️ Less decision fatigue

✔️ More confidence, presence, and consistency

For busy executives, professionals, and business owners, getting dressed shouldn't require excessive time or mental energy.

The goal is to simplify your wardrobe while elevating your executive presence—so you can focus on leading, influencing, and making an impact.

Every engagement begins with a strategy. The wardrobe is simply the visible outcome.

And yes, we accomplish a lot while having plenty of fun and laughter along the way.

Ready to simplify your wardrobe while elevating your executive presence?

Let’s talk.

Happy Fashion & Freedom Friday!

Speak With Impact Sunday:

The internet sells more than products.

It sells identities, insecurities, and illusions.

It almost got me this morning.

Wisdom.
Discernment.
Critical thinking.

These are essential skills that must be utilized regularly. They are no longer optional.

Pause.
Question.
Protect your mind.

Then, teach the next generation and those in your charge to do the same.

Self-leadership first—because embodied leaders create healthier, safer, and more fulfilling homes, work places, and communities.

How cute are these?!

🦋Reflections from The Coach’s Corner:

Authentic personal style not only helps to express, it buffers stress and builds resilience.

That said, start ‘em young—but never make looks more important than character.

This is critical for a sustainable and empowered life:

Intentionally teach that style/looks are not a measure of value or worth. You’ll be glad you did…and so will they.

And for overall health and well-being—and civility—style should absolutely be balanced with measures of kindness and respect, curiosity, integrity, and effort.

Wardrobe is simply one (fun) support tool in the Success Toolbox of Life & Leadership.

And YES, it is a tool.

Happy Fashion & Freedom Friday!
