Yesterday we had the honor of welcoming back our Tiger Seniors for one final walk through the halls that helped shape their journey. 🐾🎓

From classroom memories to friendships that will last a lifetime, it was a special moment celebrating how far they’ve come and all that lies ahead. Our students and staff lined the halls with cheers, smiles, and high fives as we recognized this incredible milestone.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! We are so proud of our seniors and can’t wait to see the amazing things they accomplish next. 🖤🐾🧡

Cortina teachers and staff don’t just teach lessons, they model compassion in action. While volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, our incredible educators packed 29,592 meals, enough to feed 81 children for an entire year.

Higley Unified School District is excited to announce Faith Orr as the new principal of Cortina Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Ms. Faith Orr brings over 26 years of experience in education to this role. Throughout her career, she has served elementary students as a teacher across multiple grade levels and as an elementary principal. Most recently, she has been leading an elementary school in a neighboring district, where she has demonstrated strong instructional leadership, a commitment to student achievement, and a dedication to fostering a positive school culture.
