On February 19, 1971, Paul McCartney released his debut single as a solo artist, "Another Day." The song was released through Apple Records and became a hit, reaching the top of the charts in Spain, Ireland, and Australia, while peaking at No. 2 in the UK and No1. 5 in the US.
"Another Day" showcased McCartney's songwriting talent and marked the beginning of his successful solo career after the breakup of The Beatles.
