The Queen Creek Unified School District Family Resource Center welcomes Angela Brammer as a new Adult Education Teacher. Get to know Angela below:

I love meeting students where they are at and helping them get to where they are going. Knowing that I am a piece of the puzzle in the next step to their academic or workplace goals is very fulfilling.

Some of my hobbies are hiking, reading, crafting, and spending time with my dogs.

I enjoy meeting my family in Seaside, OR every summer as my favorite vacation.

I have been married for 31 years to my husband Tim. I have two grown children named Ariel and Damon. My daughter is a flight attendant and lives in Denver, Colorado. My son is an engineer and lives in Washington State. I am a new grandmother to my grandson Leon.

The Queen Creek Unified School District Family Resource Center welcomes Laura Bahr as a new Adult Education Teacher. Get to know Laura below:

I love the variety in teaching, everyday is different and building relationships with the students.

My hobbies include reading, taking naps, and going to the gym.

My favorite vacation spot is the Dominican Republic.

I am married and have four kids - three boys and one girl ages 3,4,9,10.

The Queen Creek Unified School District Family Resource Center welcomes Nicole Hilbrands as a new Adult Education Teacher. Get to know Nicole below:

There are many reasons I love teaching. I get to constantly keep learning. I enjoy helping students overcome concepts that are challenging to them. Lastly, I value the connections with my students. This is my first year working in adult education and I am very excited to help students build a path for their future.

My hobbies include working out and spending time outside in nature. My daughter and I like finding new recipes to create together.

My favorite vacation has been going to Anna Marie Island on Florida’s Gulf Coast. It provides a quiet and peaceful experience.

My family consists of my daughter Erin, who is a freshman at Queen Creek High School and my son Cohen, who is a 7th grader at Queen Creek Middle School.

Queen Creek Adult Education works with the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity in the workforce system/structure as a collaborative system aligning education, health, economic security to strengthen Arizona’s workforce.
