Cortina Elementary students took a closer look at the U.S. Constitution in recognition of Constitution Day. 🇺🇸

During morning announcements, Principal Faith Orr and Assistant Principal Mr. Terry Peper shared the importance of this foundational document and how it protects the rights and freedoms of Americans.

Learning about the Constitution gives students an opportunity to better understand our nation's history and the role we all play as responsible citizens. 📜

❤️💙 Thank You to Our First Responders 💙❤️

Last Friday we had a chance to celebrate the first responders in our Tiger families! Thank you to all who joined your kids for our first responders lunch!

We want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible men and women who serve our communities every day.

To our firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all first responders—thank you for your courage, sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping others.

You run toward the moments others run from, and you continue to show up when your community needs you most. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you do.

From all of us at Cortina Elementary, thank you for keeping our families and community safe. 🇺🇸
