🏆 Congratulations to Connor C. on being named the Legacy Student Athlete of the Month - August 2026🏆

⚾Connor has been a tremendous leader and a contributor both on and off the field this season. At the plate, he’s batting an impressive .429 with an outstanding .857 slugging percentage. He currently ranks second on the team in RBIs with four and leads the team in walks with six, demonstrating both his offensive production and disciplined approach at the plate.

⭐The Patriots are proud to celebrate ... Connor! Beyond his stats, Connor has earned his teammates' and coaches' respect through leadership and dedication. His coaches and teammates voted him team captain, reflecting the example he sets every day. Connor takes that responsibility seriously, leading from the front with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to helping his team succeed. Connor works hard in the classroom as well, earning A's and B's. He exemplifies the values of Legacy and shows Respect, Integrity, and Kindness.

We had a wonderful time welcoming our Legacy grandparents for a special Grandparents Day lunch. Our Patriots were so excited to share this time with the people who love and support them.

Today, our Legacy Traditional School–Queen Creek community came together for a meaningful Patriot Day ceremony as we remembered the lives lost on September 11th and honored the courage, service, and sacrifice of our first responders and service members.

We were proud to hear our choir perform, listen to students recite poems, and welcome Mr. Fox from the Apache Junction Fire Department as our guest speaker. A special highlight was the Banner Air helicopter landing, with a crew that included Legacy parent Mr. Padilla.

Thank you to Chick-Fil-A Ironwood for generously providing a delicious breakfast for our first responders and service members. We are grateful for everyone who helped make this day so special.

Please join us on Friday, September 11th, at 8:00 a.m. for our Patriot Day flag ceremony as we remember those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of our first responders and military members.

We invite our Legacy families and community members to join us for this meaningful observance.
