I was asked to speak to a group of employees while I was in MN last week on healthy habits thought I’d share a little tidbit with you! We all have to start somewhere, if you aren’t already doing these quick simple habits, you might want to add them to your daily routine!

When you start a new plan, you shouldn’t cross your fingers in it you should know what you’re doing or find a coach to help you. If you wanna helpful tip in the weight loss muscle growth category try eating higher carb on larger muscle growth days or heavier workout days and lower the carbohydrates on rest days or off days, don’t fly by the seat of your pants- it doesn’t work

Try it! A new spin on the red bell pepper- many people asked me about this recipe, unfortunately I do do recipes well, I am more of a toss and go gal but here ya go: 1 red bell pepper (steamed) in a pan combine chicken (already cooked) mushrooms, onions (optional) diced red pepper and cook until mushrooms are done, sprinkle cheese on top (I use Colby Jack or pepper Jack for this) and devour!

Not sure what mama needs to hear this but you are amazing and those scars on your belly (or bo**ie and thighs) are part of your story- I don’t walk around “showing off” my scars all too often at all, but I do think it’s important for all of us to be reminded that we carry these scars well…none of us love having stretch marks and loose skin around or bellies but it doesn’t mean we aren’t still owning it in the health and wellness department- I see you, you are dominating your goals, you work hard to stay healthy and fit and I am not telling you you have to show off those scars but I am telling you that those scars are probably where a lot of your strength has come from. Be confident in your story and control what you can control, transparency and authenticity makes you real to those around you fighting some of the same battles- own it ladies!! You are amazingly strong, scars and all 😘🔥😍

Did you know hot sauce is pretty a freebie when it comes to tracking what you are putting in your body for macros, although I don’t track macros I am still mindful of what my meals consist of… So if you are like me and you 🫶 Ranch maybe try lessening the amount you ”dip” by adding hot sauce to your meal it’s so yummy!! Try it!

If I feed him the meal, I force him to take the pic 🤣😬 can you tell… he hates selfies, it cracks me up … anyways… I know you know this but I CANNOT say it enough, what you put in your body matters- eating healthy doesn’t have to suck- learn to take the foods you love and put a healthy spin on them, it’s that simple! This meal=shredded chicken with a little taco seasoning kick, homemade pico, a little shredded cheese, coleslaw (cabbage) instead of lettuce for more of a “crunch”, quinoa (only 1/4 of a cup- know your serving sizes) and a sprinkle of cheese, so so yummy and takes minutes to prep, try it, a healthy spin on Chipotle
