Last Saturday was our Sonoran Desert Music Teachers Club Festival through ! It was a great success and I'm so proud of how each student did! This is such a great experience for students to perform for judges and receive great feedback and motivates them to work hard on their music! Bravo to all 12 students who participated!

If you're looking to give your child a solid musical foundation and have fun doing it, come check out my Mini Musicians classes! During these classes we work on aural skills through singing and solfege, rhythm, keyboard knowledge and playing simple songs, learn music symbols, work on motor skills for a good technique foundation, and practice focused listening. We do all this through fun classical music, games, and movement! Join us for a free trial class and see what it's all about! Classes begin Tuesday August 5th! The preschool class (ages 3-4) is from 9:30-10:15 am and the kinder class (ages 5-6) is from 4:00-4:45 pm. Message me for more details or to come try a class!

In June, we had a fun week of summer camp! I had two classes, one for 4-7 year olds newbies and one for ages 7+ who were not new to the piano. I used a super fun and effective curriculum by ! The first few days were themed after a unique sport - rowing, horseback riding, and pickleball. There was also a specific piano challenge each day that they had to do to earn their sticker for their piano club certificate. They really had to earn those stickers! We worked on musicianship skills and learned songs on the piano. The older group had multi-level parts that we put together in one big ensemble! We had so much fun! 🎹🎉🎹

Merry Christmas! 🎄 One of the most special things about learning to play the piano is the opportunity to play for the good of others, to help them feel joy, peace, and love. My daughter and my husband had the opportunity to play for our church services on Sunday and this is a recording of their practice. Enjoy! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

The studio Christmas Concert 2024 was a great success! 🎄🎹🎄 I'm so proud of all of these sweet students for their practice and preparation. They played so well! There are a few missing here, and I definitely missed them, but they worked hard on theirs songs as well. Thanks, everyone, for a great recital!
