🎶 Our 70th Anniversary Season is here! 🎶

For 70 years, the Symphony of the Southwest has brought the power of live orchestral music to our community—and we can't wait to celebrate this incredible milestone with you.

Our 2026–2027 season is filled with unforgettable performances, cherished traditions, exciting collaborations, and inspiring musical experiences for audiences of all ages. From our season-opening celebration to holiday favorites, cinematic classics, educational programming, and our grand finale, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

✨ Tickets are on sale now! Join us as we celebrate 70 years of music, community, and artistic excellence.

A few important updates for our upcoming season: all subscription concerts will now begin at 3:00 PM at our home, the Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center. This thoughtful change was made after reviewing audience feedback, orchestra member input, attendance trends and recommendations from our partners at Mesa Arts Center with the goal of making performances more accessible while continuing to provide the exceptional concert experience our patrons love.

Did you know? Renting an instrument is a great way to start learning without breaking the bank.

🎻 It gets you a higher quality instrument which will make it less frustrating to learn on.

🎻 A full size instrument is usually too big for young students to properly learn on, which makes renting so much easier- You just trade in sizes as they grow.

🎻 Most music stores offer a rent-to-own program so that you can put that money towards owning when you’re ready!

🎻 Is your violin ready for summer break? ☀️While most players remember to change strings or rehair their bows, the fingerboard is often overlooked. Over time, strings wear grooves into the wood, which can cause annoying buzzing and poor intonation."Planing" (or dressing) the fingerboard smooths out these dips, making your instrument feel like new again! 🎶Summer break is the perfect time to drop your instrument off and protect your investment. Give your violin the TLC it deserves so it’s in peak shape for the fall! 🛠️✨
