We're proud to announce our very own Layla Kretchmer as the Flute Almanac Young Flutist Spotlight for June 2026.

Layla's feature in the Flutist Almanac reflects on her musical journey — from an uncertain start with the flute to a genuine passion for music, shaped by years of dedication, ensemble participation, and the support of those around her. Her tribute to her mother closes the piece on a particularly moving note.

events are to you & your family. QCUSD high schools are implementing Clear Bag Protocols
at high school athletic events this school year. The purpose of these protocols is to help ensure a
safe & enjoyable experience for all students, parents, and game spectators.
