Mallori Stringer from Queen City High School. She is a junior setter on the volleyball team. In addition to volleyball, she is a guard on the basketball team and a shortstop on the softball team. Mallori is a three-year letter winner in all three sports. She was named Academic All-District in volleyball, basketball, and softball and first-team All-District in softball her freshman year. She received Academic All-District honors in basketball and softball in her sophomore year. Mallori was awarded the Bulldog Pride Award in volleyball, basketball, and softball in 2020 and volleyball and basketball in 2021. Academically she is ranked first in her class with a 4.0 GPA. She is on the A honor roll for all grading periods. Mallori has served as a kindergarten teaching assistant in the classroom for two years. She loves children and assists them in achieving their goals. She is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes student leader for the junior class, where she collaborates with other students to organize meetings and activities. Mallori also serves her community through the Interact Club, an Atlanta Area Rotary Club extension. She attends the Atlanta Church of God, is an active youth member, and serves as a teacher’s assistant in the children’s church.According to coach April Chism, “Mallori leads by example in the classroom, on the court, and at other campuses where she volunteers. Her determination to succeed in all areas of her life is evident in the daily sacrifices she makes. Mallori’s hustle and heart are what sets her apart. She will run through a brick wall and never mention the pain until months later.” Longview Orthopaedic STAR Foundation proudly presents Mallori Stringer as a Student-Athlete of the Year nominee on October 28, 2022. The Free Application for Federal Studen Aid (FAFSA) opens this Friday, October 1st.

Students & Parents must create accounts first and this can be done now at www.FAFSA.Ed.gov

Your student received information about this today. We will have a FAFSA night on November 2nd at 5:30 for those needing assistance.

For today’s spotlight we have Lineworker Pre-Apprentice, Justin Lance from Atlanta, Texas. A Cass County native, Justin attended Queen City ISD Highschool and made the TEEX Lineworker Academy his top priority right after graduation.
