Today was an exciting day for Bentley! We attended his graduation from SSD. It was great to see the many dogs, volunteers and supporters! More pictures and a video to come.

The second photo also includes SSD Eclair who will be at Providence Elementary. Bentley and Eclair are half siblings (sharing a mom - SSD Kelly).

Bentley enjoyed a shopping trip to Lowe’s today. He was very well behaved (when he greeted another dog and when we practiced not interacting with another dog). He’s always happy to go on adventures with his family. He was patient as Will picked out tools for work!

We are incredibly proud to share that SSD Bentley, along with his handlers Mrs. Gajecki and Mrs. Humphries, have officially passed their 6-Month Public Access Evaluation! 🎉✨

This is a big milestone in their journey. Over the last six months, this team has worked tirelessly to strengthen their bond, master skills, and navigate the world together with confidence, focus, and a lot of tail wags.

Students in Miss Putt’s class filled their marble jar and earned a whole class incentive. They requested recess with Bentley and he was so excited! He played on the slide, had many pets, chased the frisbee (a tiny bit) and popped one playground ball! We think the kids had fun too!
