We have noticed some safety issues around the schools the first few days of school that we need everyone to help us with so we can prevent accidents from happening and keep our children safe.

At the high school and middle school we are asking that parents dropping off or picking up students please use the southwest gate. Please do not use the main gate between the middle school and high school. With bus traffic and student foot traffic the congestion has caused some serious situations.

At the elementary school, the south gate will be locked during pick up time (after school). We are having some near misses in this lot because of the traffic and children not being checked out properly at the end of the day. Parents please remain in your vehicles in the pick up line, as this will allow for a safer process.

We appreciate your understanding and helping us keep all children safe at school.

The past two days have been a blast. Yesterday we were able to make a class rules and lab safety contract and went over different procedures. Today we started with an autobiography project. The students talked about their future selves and what they did to become famous in the future. We also did a lot of gardening and they enjoyed it.

Classroom is officially ready for students! Can’t wait to get the year started!
