UPDATE!! Last school year, we were blessed to welcome Andrew Rosenbaum and Jeff Wooler, author & illustrator respectively, of their book, "Go Birds: A Child's Favorite Words", which was just going into printing. They talked to us about their faith in Jesus and their partnership in writing & illustrating this book about their favorite NFL football team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Yesterday, Jeff & Andrew stopped back in to bring us the finished product, which they graciously signed and donated to our school! It was really exciting for us to be included in this amazing journey and we are grateful that they chose to share their story and their book with QCS and our students!! Our high school electives have started for Semester 1, and we are happy to announce that our Director of Business, Steve Kolb, will be teaching an "Into to Business" elective!! Mr. Kolb has a strong background in this field and is looking forward to sharing with his students the things that excited him about a business vocation. We know he's going to do an awesome job and that the students will enjoy learning from him!

"Many hands make light work." This quote truly came to life as parents, students, staff and even a board member joined together, before the start of the school year, to breathe new life back into our natural playground. This area was enjoyed by our students so much last year, but due to some heavy storms and flooding, a lot of the wood chips had been washed away and gullies were left behind. One of the volunteers got us a load of wood chips and out came the shovels and rakes. We even had one of our students hauling a cart to make things easier for our volunteers. We so appreciate every person, big or small, who came out to give our natural playground a much needed facelift!! Thank you- it looks AMAZING!!
