🙏 A Faith-Filled Friday! 🙏

On Friday, our middle school students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the National Shrine of St. John Neumann in Philadelphia! ⛪️

Students received an informative talk in the Shrine and were blessed with the opportunity to see the relics and remains of St. John Neumann, which are preserved in a glass tomb. His remains are clothed, and a lifelike mask covers his face to represent his appearance at the time of his death.

Students also watched an inspiring video about the miraculous recovery of a young Philadelphia boy attributed to St. John Neumann and explored the museum while researching answers for a fun trivia worksheet. 📖✨

It was a meaningful day filled with faith, history, learning, and inspiration! 💙

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, the St. Isidore School community pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

We honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary bravery and selflessness.

As a Catholic school community, we pray for the victims, their families, the survivors, and all those who continue to carry the weight of that day.

🙏 Lord, grant eternal rest to those who lost their lives, comfort those who mourn, and guide us to live with faith, kindness, compassion, and peace.

We remember. We pray. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🏃‍♀️❤️ EXERCISE FOR EDUCATION IS COMING! ❤️🏃‍♂️

On October 9th, our St. Isidore students will be exercising for education as they raise funds to support our school! 💪📚

In the weeks leading up to the event, our students will be working hard to raise money for school improvements while promoting fitness, teamwork, and school spirit! 🐻❤️

⚾ Making a Difference, One Kind Act at a Time! ⚾

St. Isidore School was honored to receive a plaque from Mr. Paul Gerhart, President of Baseball for Special People , in recognition of our school’s generous donation from a Dress Down Day fundraiser. ⚾💙

We were especially proud to have one of our students, AJ Campolei, join Mr. Gerhart on stage, as AJ participated in Baseball for Special People this past summer.

Mr. Gerhart shared a beautiful message with our students about how God created each of us uniquely, and we all have our own challenges and crosses to bear. What matters is how we face those challenges, overcome them, and remain true to who God created us to be. 🙏

He also reminded our students of the importance of always choosing kindness, showing compassion, and treating everyone with love and respect. ❤️

Way to go, AJ, on a wonderful baseball season! We are so proud of you and grateful that you could share your experience with our school community. ⚾👏💙
