Why fresh milled?

Did you know that Heritage kids enjoy homemade pancakes, muffins, sourdough bread, and other treats made with delicious, freshly milled flour?

Fresh milled flour is made by taking whole, nutritious wheat berries and grinding them right before baking them, thereby avoiding the bleaching and oxidizing of conventional flours and the preservatives and seed oils in grocery store breads.

Whole grain flour is also higher in nutrients that help growing bodies! Vitamin E and B6, folate, thiamin, zinc, and magnesium can all be found naturally in this flour. Studies link consuming products made with fresh milled, whole grain flour to a massive decrease in diabetes, stroke, and heart disease. Not to to mention that our flour is high in fiber, protein, and carbs, so it’s the perfect play food.

We did it!!! After 3 long years of dreaming, planning, building, and begging 😂 we finally received our license from the State of Washington! Open for students this Monday, July 6th. NOW ENROLLING! 🎉🥳🎊❤️❤️❤️

Just another weekend in paradise! So thankful for my husband who takes whatever harebrained idea I throw at him and makes it happen! Last weekend it was special touches for our Charlotte’s Web classroom. Today it was the staff bathroom. ⚒️💪
