Teacher Appreciation Week was a great time to show the CCS staff how much they are loved. They were blessed with lots of yummy treats, new coffee mugs and coffee, surprise gift cards and a delicious catered Cinco De Mayo lunch. We all truly appreciate everything you do for our kids. A huge thank you to all the parents and PFC for making it all possible.

We have received approval from CCS to host a Spaghetti Feed/Auction at CCS on Sunday, March 13th at 3:00 p.m. to fundraise for the Lapinski Family. The Lapinski family have had 4 kids attend CCS (Taylor 20, Jackson 18, Ashton 10 and Averie 8). Jason Lapinski (father) unexpectedly died on January 13th leaving his family with no life insurance and no income. The mom, Tami has been a stay-at-home mom until the last year or so and has been working two jobs to keep her head above water. The loss of Jason is devastating emotionally as well as financially for this family. The two youngest kids were pulled out of CCS due to financial reasons. Jackson is currently a senior at CCS. As you can imagine, Tami is overwhelmed as she faces the cost of 2 kids in college as well as all other living expenses.
We are looking for donations for the auction! We are doing a LIVE auction as well as a SILENT auction (gift baskets, items, etc.) ! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate. Also, if there are teams/groups that want to donate service projects, that is awesome. We are really hoping for some amazing items! If you can help in procurement, THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Here are a couple items we have so far.....
LIVE AUCTION:
-a lodge in Alaska
-a week lodging at any Worldmark Resort
-land surveying ($2,000/value)
-CCS Baseball Team at your Service (12 guys x 8/hours each) - total of 96 hours of labor!
SILENT AUCTION
-Quilt
-Large Gift Basket
-Custom Cookie Basket
-Home Decor Basket
Many of you work or own companies -- this is such a great cause and so deserving. We will take anything!
