Responsibilities

The Executive Director Business Services is responsible for the administration of the overall business and financial operations of the district. The Executive Director advises the Superintendent regarding fiscal management issues and plays a critical role in budget development, bargaining strategy, financial planning, and analyzing District program expenditures to ensure fiscal and budget integrity.

Qualifications

Master's degree in educational administration or business administration or seven years increasingly responsible professional experience in business administration, education administration, public administration, or management; or any combination of experience and training provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the District's senior financial executive and is responsible for the overall financial strategy, stewardship, integrity, and long-term sustainability of the District. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership for all business and financial operations
- Ensuring fiscal accountability, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and standards
- Serving as the principal financial advisor to the Executive Leadership, the Superintendent, and the Board of Directors.

** Education and Experience Requirements: **
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field required, Master's degree preferred.
- Seven years of progressively responsible senior-level experience in financial or business leadership within a large, complex organization.
- Strong preference for experience with public sector finance, audits, budgeting, debt management, and regulatory compliance.
