Field Day was held yesterday, June 12 2026, and would not have been possible without the incredible teamwork, dedication, and support of our amazing school community.

Thank you to our Field Day Planning Committee (Andrea Duncan, Rhea Parayno, Tyeisha Sanders, and Katie Diaz); your time, planning, and hard work behind the scenes made this event possible. From organizing details to bringing the fun, your dedication helped create an unforgettable day for our Thunderbird students.

A huge THANK YOU to our volunteers (see graphic!), teachers, paraeducators, specialists, recess coaches, kitchen staff, office staff, and Admin for helping out with such a fun, memorable, and successful day for our students. Your flexibility, energy, cooperation, and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped make the day run smoothly and created lasting memories for our kids.

Another thank you goes out to our Communities in Schools site coordinator Andrea Seachord for the post-Field Day popsicles for our Thunderbirds to enjoy on such a beautiful day!

It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your enthusiasm, and helping make Field Day such a special event!
