Sunrise Children's Center Welcome to Sunrise Children's Center! We have had the wonderful opportunity to teach, guide, and love the children in our community for 40 years.

We look forward to getting to know your child. We provide age-appropriate opportunities for the children's intellectual growth and development of their social skills including helping to solve problems, fostering their creativity, and teaching them to be independent in routine activities. Our teachers are dedicated to helping each child discover their unique potential – academically, socially, and interpersonally. Although we are a center, we have a small and homey atmosphere. Our teachers develop age-appropriate lesson plans that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills. Some of our activities include group play, small motor skills activities, large muscle activities, free play, music, dramatic play, creative movement, art projects, cooking projects, science projects, sharing time, library, and quiet time. In addition to the ‘basics’, we strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom. Each school year our preschoolers take approximately four field trips. During the summer our preschoolers and school age students take weekly field trips. Some of our summer adventures include swim lessons, skating, bowling, picnics, and movies. We invite you to learn more about us and to visit our center soon.
