Amazing bunch! These students were awesome— they worked diligently on the fundamentals in class and then went to the range today and did a great job!

I had a stroke on January 28th. I was out of the hospital and using my SIRT (dry fire tool) within about three weeks after that. 🔫 Since March, I’ve been in safe, controlled environments with other instructors, working hard to strengthen my hands and grip, trigger press, stance, and breathing. 💪 I’ve got more work to do, but I’m pretty proud of my accomplishments. 👏 Onward!

Hi to all of my amazing friends, family, and clients! As many of you probably heard, I had a stroke on January 28th. I’ve been working hard in the last five weeks, working with PT, OT, and speech. I am a go-getter, so there’s no time to waste! ☺️! Thank you all for your well wishes— all of you know it more than I can say. I’ll be at it before you know it.❤️ ****mstraining

Patricia is a first time gun owner who contacted me to become more comfortable with her firearm. She’s well on her way! Keep up the hard work, Patricia!

Sunday GUNDAY! 🤗😁I say that all the time, but much of being an instructor involves furthering your own skill. How do we do that? By learning from other instructors and fellow shooters! By getting out and pushing your skill envelope! It’s important to have a group of friends to shoot with that motivate me to be better and do better. 👯‍♂️Now get out to the range! 🔫

Happy 10th Anniversary to Ladies First Firearm Training!

I can hardly believe that 2026 marks 10 years of dedication to empowering women to handle fi****ms independently, safely, comfortably, and proficiently.

This business would not be what it is today without my amazing instructors — Patty, Shannon, Amber, and Jana. Your professionalism, passion, and commitment mean everything to me and to our students.

To all of the students who placed their trust in us—thank you for allowing us to introduce you to the world of fi****ms and for continuing your training journey with us. We will never stop working hard to earn and keep that trust.

And last, but certainly not least, thank you to my family. This business would not have survived—let alone thrived—without your guidance, patience, and unwavering support over the past 10 years.

Here’s to many more years ahead! 💪🎉

What a year!🎉 In 2025, we trained around 180 women (and some gentlemen too! 😁), helping them build comfort, confidence, and proficiency in handgun handling. Our goal has always been to empower women through education and practical training so they can take an active role in their own personal safety. I think we succeeded beautifully. 💜

On a personal note, I started the year off with the goal of competing on a regular basis. Mission accomplished! 🙌🏻 A friend and fellow instructor encouraged me to count the matches completed and I was pleasantly surprised to find I've competed in 18 matches in 2025, not including four major clinics and classes I participated in, two of them in Texas and Colorado and two of them here in our own beautiful state. 😮😁

My goal for 2026? 1️⃣Continue to work hard in empowering and training others in handgun competency and 2️⃣️⃣to compete regularly and work hard to become the competitor I know I can be! 💪🏻

What's your goal for 2026?
