BROADWAY JUNIOR
Summer Camp

Theatre intensive training in:
auditions ~ acting ~ vocal techoique ~ dance ~ improv ~ staging ~ characterization

Classes will be led by Brenda S. Henson, Executive Director, and Jay Henson, Acting Coach.
Assisting they will be special guest instructors with expertise in specific fields of study.
Performers will be broken into two age groups.

YELLOW CAMP: Ages 8-12

GREEN CAMP: Ages 13-18
Spots Available

All students will be cast in the fully staged Broadway Jr. production of "Honk!"

Yellow Camp Performances: Aug. 12th at 2pm and 7pm

Green Camp Performances: Aug. 11h at 7pm and Aug. 12th at 4:30pm

Classes will be held at Sumner High School.

July 24 - August 12, Monday through Thursday
from 3:00pm-5:30pm.

Performances are August 11th & 12th.

$300 per student
$275 additional siblings

Tomorrow, Feb. 22, our Extended Day Preschoolers, Kindergarten Academy, Kindergarteners and First Graders will begin their first 5 day week.

Tomorrow is a Late Start Monday (One Hour Late) too...Families are welcomed on campus at 9:35 and school begins at 9:45.

We are excited to see you tomorrow!

Today was a great day for our K-1 B Group Students! They had to wait an extra day, but it was still wonderful!

K-1 Students continue to have a great time at school. Our teachers and staff have done a wonderful job!
Masks are no problem for these young learners!

Students in the Maplewood preschool program were welcomed by staff on Sept. 29 as they arrived for the first day of in-person instruction.

Puyallup High School 2020 graduate Gibson Hooper prepares nearly 400 computers for distribution to Maplewood students the week of August 31. Gibson is working in the District’s EdTech department this summer. He plans to attend college at Cal Poly in the fall.

ICYMI: We’re narrowing our focus on instructional models for fall; focusing on an A/B schedule rotation that would include two full days of in-class instruction and three days of an enhanced version of Continuous (Distance) Learning. As we continue to explore ways to open in a traditional sense, there is a possibility that kindergarten to third grade could resume class four days a week, Tuesday through Friday. In addition, families not comfortable with a hybrid model will be able to choose a full-time Continuous (Distance) Learning model. We’ll continue to keep you updated. https://bit.ly/2AFdEoA
