What an incredible day! Our Trailblazers spent the afternoon laughing, playing, celebrating, and making memories with friends. From exciting games and cool sno cones to colorful face painting and nonstop smiles, Field Day was the perfect way to wrap up another amazing school year.

A HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers, staff members, PTA supporters, and families who helped make today possible. Events like this take a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who donated their time, energy, and enthusiasm to create such a special experience for our students.

Most importantly, thank you to our students for bringing the fun, showing great sportsmanship, and making this day one to remember!

Field Day is almost here, and we are still looking for a few volunteers to help make this one of the most exciting days of the school year! 💚🖤

We have an especially big need for volunteers at our Face Painting Station. No artistic experience is required—we'll be using stencils to make it quick, easy, and fun for both volunteers and students!

Field Day takes place on Thursday, June 11, from 1:30–3:30 PM. Whether you can help for part of the event or the entire afternoon, your time and support make a huge difference.

Shaw Families - we're officially in the final stretch of the school year, which means we're getting close to one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year—Field Day! 💚🖤

Our Field Day is coming up on Thursday, June 11, from 1:30–3:30 PM, and we're looking for volunteers to help make this a fun and memorable afternoon for our students!

Volunteers will assist with event setup, support activity stations, encourage students, and help keep the fun running smoothly throughout the event. Whether you're available for part of the afternoon or the entire event, we would love to have your help.

Mission: Playground may have crossed the finish line, but what our Trailblazers accomplished over the past few weeks is something truly special.

While we didn’t quite reach our Phase 1 fundraising goal, we are incredibly proud of what we achieved together:

💥 Nearly $22,000 raised (including corporate matching donations!)
🌎 Donations from 35 states and 4 countries
🏫 Every single class brought in donations
🚀 Nearly 60% of our students registered

More importantly, we saw what makes Shaw Road such an amazing community. Families, students, staff, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and supporters from across the country—and around the world—came together to invest in the future of our school.

Every donation, every share, every registration, and every encouraging word brought us one step closer to creating safer, more inclusive playground spaces for all Trailblazers.
