35🥹💛
Thank you so much to our incredible preschool families, friends, neighbors, and loved ones for all of the birthday wishes, thoughtful gifts, cards, hugs, and love shared with me this week. I had planned to quietly let 35 come and go, but apparently our little Wildwood community wasn’t going to let that happen. 🥹💛
For some reason, 35 felt like a much bigger milestone than 30. One of my sweet friends gave me a card that said, “You have reached the age where you now clean to the music that you used to go out clubbing to.” 😂 And goodness, if that doesn’t perfectly describe 35!
I think this birthday made me realize just how much the chapters of life have shifted. The goals that once centered around me have slowly become goals for us — building a beautiful life for our family, creating traditions, and making the kinds of memories our children will someday carry into families of their own.
Somewhere along the way, I became someone who would rather quietly let my own birthday pass without much fuss. William has been wonderful about reminding me that milestones are worth acknowledging and that sometimes it’s okay to let the people who love you celebrate you, too. 💛
Between my husband and boys, our preschool families, friends, and neighbors, I felt incredibly loved and appreciated this year.
Maybe 35 isn’t the end of an era after all. Maybe it’s simply the beginning of a different kind of chapter — a little less clubbing, a lot more cleaning to the same music 😂, and so much more meaning behind the memories we’re making.
Thank you for making 35 so special and for being part of this beautiful little community we’ve created.
Here’s to 35 and all the beautiful life still ahead. 🥂💛✨
