Intramural Musicians is a program dedicated to bringing together professional musicians and passionate amateurs, creating meaningful connections through a shared love of music. It celebrates the journeys of those who have discovered, or rediscovered, the joy of making music, reminding us that artistry is not defined by profession, but by the heart.

It is a true privilege to share the stage with individuals who, despite the demands of life, decades-long careers, and countless responsibilities, have returned to their first love to nurture the music within them. Their dedication is a beautiful testament to the enduring power of music to inspire and unite us all.

Our annual Mid-Summer Showcase was another great success! Filled with wonderful student trios, the BTC Orchestra, Cello Choir, Jazz Band, and Choir! I love being able to offer an ensemble focused concert each year, it really gives them a chance to shine. Well done everyone!

BTC Family,

Our conservatory community is hurting this week as we learned that one of our students and her family lost their home and all of their belongings in a devastating fire. In a matter of moments, they lost nearly everything, including her instruments, music books, and treasured belongings.

The family had spent the evening celebrating Mom and Dad’s third wedding anniversary. When they returned home, they were met with the unimaginable and discovered that their house was gone.

At BTC, we often talk about being more than a music school. We are a family. When one of our own is hurting, we come together, lift one another up, and do what we can to help.

A close family friend has created a GoFundMe to assist them as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives. If you are able, I encourage you to consider donating. If giving is not possible, please consider sharing their fundraiser and keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers.

No act of kindness is too small. Together, our community can help remind this family that they are not alone.
