This Thursday October 27 after school till 5:30ish is our zombie day. Art club students turn each other into zombies with fake blood and make up. It's alot of fun and I will turn the pictures into trading cards.

Wednesday October 12th will be our next pride time eating meeting. Students can bring thier favorite desert. We will discuss officers and our Halloween zombie event happening Thursday Oct 27th after school.

Art Club students did a great job face painting at MDC's Day on the River this last Saturday. All the kids who had their faces painted loved it and thought our students did an amazing job.

Art club will have its first eating meeting next Friday (Sept 16th). It is during pride time. Feel free to bring your favorite dessert.

Dues should be paid by the first meeting. If you have an issue with your ability to pay talk to Mr. Pierce.

Students who have paid dues will vote for officers.

I will also be setting up a tent at Missouri Department of Conservation's Day on the River in Cape Sept 24th. We will be face painting for donations. If you are interested in coming, you will have to provide your own ride. Please let Mr. Pierce know if you plan on attending.

This will be a fun year. We will leave a lasting mark this year repainting the Indian sculpture and painting a mural in town and on Mr. Pierce's class wall.

This Thursday, May 5th, from 5:30pm to 8:00 we will have the 7-12 grade art show in the FEMA. Everyone is welcome to come and see the wonderful work of our students from this school year. This will start before the band concert and last until after the concert. Make sure to stop in if you will be at the band concert.

Reminder: Tomorrow Feb 23 is our lunchtime eating meeting. We will discuss our trip, pot luck next week, mural painting and shirts.

Big news for club members! March 3rd is the rescheduled "Thanksgiving" pot luck. I know many have asked, and we finally have a date secured. We will be in the Fema lobby having food, games, and likely a movie. We will also have a eating meeting in the near future. Listen for announcements.

Today (22nd) starts Art Clubs "Pet Rock" fundraiser. See an art club member to purchase one or more of these. Students have painted a selection of choices and may paint specifics for you. They are $3 and help fund our trip to the Saint Louis Art Museum.

The potluck for tomorrow night has been postponed. Mr. Pierce is going to be out of town on unexpected family buisness. We will reschedule as soon as possible.

November 18th from 5:30 to 8:00 is the annual Art Club Potluck/movie night in the FEMA lobby. We will have an eating meeting the Tuesday before during lunch to discuss what food items people want to bring. We will also discuss club shirt. All club members may bring a friend, from Puxico high school to the potluck.

Make sure to come out to the Puxico HS/JH art show Sunday May 2nd from 2:00 - 4:00 in the FEMA building. We have art from students from throughout the year along with a handful of pieces from last year since we were shut down from COVID.

Art Club members can help by working the sign in sheet and showing people around if desired. Pizza will be provide for helpers.
