🚗 CAR RIDER INFORMATION
Morning Drop-Off
Student drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m. Please use caution and follow staff directions as you enter campus.
Elementary students should remain in the vehicle until a staff member greets them at the drop-off area near the north entrance of the FEMA building.
To help the line move safely and efficiently:
• Have students ready to exit from the passenger side
• Make sure backpacks, lunchboxes, and other needed items are ready
• Parents and guardians should remain in the vehicle
A little preparation will keep the line moving, keep frustrations down—and help prevent anyone from becoming tomorrow’s unexpected viral video or social media post! 😄
Afternoon Pick-Up
The after-school pick-up line will begin at 2:30 p.m. This is a change from previous years and is part of our effort to keep the campus more secure throughout the school day.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and extra caution as everyone adjusts to the school-year routine. We can’t wait to welcome our students back! 🧡🖤
🍎🧡 TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY, PUXICO! 🖤🍎
We are excited to welcome our students back for the first day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26!
Thank you to all of our families who joined us for Open House last night. It was wonderful to see our buildings full of students and families getting ready for a great year!
A few important reminders as we prepare for tomorrow morning:
🚌 Transportation: Please finalize any transportation changes with your child’s building office before noon tomorrow. The end of the first day is extremely busy in each building office, and we do not want to miss an important transportation change. Unless it is an emergency, transportation changes will not be accepted after noon on the first day.
🚗 Morning Drop-Off: Student drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m. at the north end of the Puxico Activity Center/FEMA Building. Please follow staff directions and use extra caution throughout campus.
⚠️ Please drive slowly! We will have buses, student drivers, families, and excited students walking throughout campus and near our bus stops. Give yourself a few extra minutes and help us keep everyone safe.
🏫 High School Students: All PHS students will report to the ARG upon arrival.
🎓 PHS Class of 2027: Seniors will take their Last, First Day Picture on the FEMA steps at 7:50 a.m. Parents and guardians who would like to participate should arrive in the FEMA lot at approximately 7:45 a.m.
🥞 Classes begin at 8:00 a.m., and free breakfast is available for all students from 7:30-8:00a.m

We know tomorrow morning will be busy, exciting, and maybe even a little emotional for some of our families. Thank you for your patience as we work together to get everyone where they need to be safely.
