The Grammar School Summer Camp Summer Day Camp (ages 5-14): Join for arts, fencing, and outdoor adventures! Mountain bike camp (ag The emphasis is on fun, learning, and creativity.

The Grammar School is offering a diverse and flexible summer program for children ages 4 to 12 during the weeks of July 7, 14, and 21, 2014. Classes in the arts, athletics, and outdoor adventure take place on the school’s 60-acre campus in Putney, Vermont. The summer program is committed to the same standard of excellence that is provided during the regular academic year. Details and registration

will be available soon! Young Explorers Preschool Camp is for ages 4 to 6. The curriculum is devoted to creativity in a joyful, safe atmosphere, led by the enchanting Jessica Sardinas. Students will create works of art and explore the forest with songs, games, and adventures. Each day will include hands-on activities, a snack, quiet breaks, and time for individual exploration. Campers ages 6 to 12 will select course offerings to create a camp experience that matches their interests. Every afternoon there is a supervised open swim time to cool off and enjoy the water with friends. There's still time to sign up for camp, but the spots are going faster than a caffeinated leopard! During Session 3 (July 10-14), each of the three camps has room for only two more campers. The Preschool Camp is full for Session 4, and it is nearly full for Sessions 1 and 2.

We will have four sessions of the Day Camp, Mountain Bike Camp, and Preschool Camp! The session dates are:

Session 1--June 26-30
Session 2--July 3-7 (no camp on July 4)
Session 3--July 10-14
Session 4--July 17-21

Daq is back as the summer camp "spokesperson" and will be leading mountain biking at The Grammar School in Putney starting June 28! Daq and his assistants work with campers to learn everything from safe riding to navigating the trails around TGS to care and maintenance of their bikes. Get on your bikes and ride!
