🔥 Team Building + Gaga Ball Fun! 🔥

We are continuing to team build, learn procedures, and learn our Gaga Ball expectations! 🐉❤️

We’ve also been getting active with OPEN games while learning important academic vocabulary like growth mindset, cooperation, and shared space. 🧠🤝

We’re learning, moving, communicating, and having FUN while becoming a stronger PE team! 💪🏽🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We are so thankful for Mrs. Tyler and all she does to keep our technology up and running! From making sure our classrooms have the tools they need to supporting teachers and staff when technology decides to give us a little trouble 😅💻—She is always there to help!

Her dedication, patience, and willingness to jump in wherever she is needed make such a difference at both Purcell Elementary and Purcell Intermediate. We truly appreciate everything she does behind the scenes to help our teachers teach and our students learn in the library! ❤️🐉

Mrs. Jones’ homeroom had a great first couple of days in science! They jumped right in with STEM Bins—building, creating, working together, and having a little fun along the way. A great way to start the year!

What better way to start the school year than by laughing, eating, and having fun!! 🤩

In Miss Windham's third grade class, there has been a lot of team building, communication learning, and procedure practicing!

🎈❤️Balloon challenges- using only pointer fingers, using only one hand, using only one hand and one leg, and staying seated while only using their pointer fingers to pass the balloon.

✨🧱STEM fun!

🪱🛟 Saving Fred the Gummy Worm- keeping him dry, securing him in a life raft, successfully building a carrier for him to zipline, and providing him with shelter during a storm!

🎉 BACK TO SCHOOL IN PE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We had a GREAT first two days in PE! ❤️🖤

This week, we learned our expectations and procedures while having a LOT of fun! We jumped right in with games like Head, Shoulders, Knees, Color; Jack in the Box; Jack In, Jack Out; In the River, On the Bank; and the Crazy Card Challenge! 🃏

Through all the fun, our Dragons were working on listening, reaction time, cooperation, communication, teamwork, and—most importantly—getting to know each other! 🐉

What a fantastic start to the school year! We can’t wait to see what this year brings! Let’s GO, Dragons! ❤️🖤
