Charlotte Tarpons Girls Weightlifting

High school season may be done for this young lady and two state champion belts under her, but she’s not done yet! Keep doing big things and crushing it at the AAU All star tournament! Thank you to BigFish Barbell and Brandon Waters for taking Allie under your wing!

We are beyond proud of these girls and their performance today at the state meet! The comraderie and friendships these girls share are more important than anything else, but they decided to win the trophy for State Runner Up on top of it! All the girls did great with many placing on the podium and two state champs(Allee Espinoza and Bailey Barrett)!

We are beyond proud of these girls as their hard work as paid off this year! Let’s bring home some hardware! We head up for weighs on Tuesday and lift on Wednesday!

Your Lady Tarpons traveled to East Lee On Thursday for Regionals! They all had outstanding performances and represented the school with Tarpon Pride. They took first place in both the Olympic and Traditional disciplines! (Official numbers are not out yet, but thank to Jarrett Moore) we know that 15 Tarpons will be making the trip to state in a little over a week! We are so proud of all the hard work that all the ladies have put in this year!

Districts is very often about just making it to the next stage. These girls did that and decided to break some records while they were at it. Bailey Beechler broke the sn**ch record and olympic total in her weight class! KK Anderson broke the sn**ch and olympic total in her weight class! McKenzie Kuykendall broke the bench record and traditional total in her weight class! Then she decided to take the title for heaviest clean and jerk across all weight classes in school history with a 215 pound clean and jerk!

The Lady Tarpons took home the district trophies today in both the Olympic and Traditonal disciplines! They did it in dominating fashion with the highest scores in program history(over 100 points in both)! Not only that, but we got to celebrate an incredible group of seniors that have grown this program to where it is at today. They will be incredibly missed, not only for their athletic achievements but for their inspiration to the younger girls in the program!

Last regular season meet of the year and Olivia decided she would tie the 183 clean and jerk record and break her own olympic total record! Keep up the hard work and we are now entering state meet mode!

We got to add another young lady to the record board! Marina Mooney tied the 119 sn**ch record at 105 pounds. The record had stood since 2021!
