First-year veterinary students practice the procedures to keep their patients pathogen-free by using fluorescent gels and powders to reveal where they may have missed a spot. Revealing errors in a low-stakes environment is one of the many ways simulation helps students acquire competency in their clinical skills - all to keep their future patients infection-free!
