Adelyn Guddat is our Director of Philanthropy and Service! She is such a constant inspiration and today she’s sharing why our philanthropy means so much to her!! 🤍🪻🕊️

“My grandma, Ardy, is the reason I joined Sigma Kappa. She fought Alzheimer’s until the very end, so when I learned about Sigma Kappa’s philanthropy, I instantly felt a personal connection to the cause. I knew I wanted to be part of a house that was making a difference for families like mine. Being able to serve as Director of Philanthropy and Service makes that connection even more meaningful, because I get to honor my grandma while helping others and continuing the fight against Alzheimer’s”.

Happy Leadership & Involvement Day 2!!!

Today we’d like to introduce our New Member Ed Team!!

Katelin Oord is our Director of New Member Education, she is a Junior and is the most welcoming and happy person we’ve ever met! She is a hardworking sister and creates such an incredible environment!!

Addy Guddat is our Director of Philanthropy and Service, she is a sophomore this year, she is one of Katelin’s New Member Education helpers and has been such an inspiration this year managing her position, school, and helping other officers!

Teighlor Ruetsch is a Junior and another one of Katelin’s New Member Ed helpers, she decided to be a helper because she wants to replicate the same experience she got and hopes to become a safe space for new members to go to!

Ila Funke is a Sophomore and another one of Katelin’s New Member Ed Helpers, she chose to be a helper because she hopes to make a lasting impact on our new members and hopes to create a safe space for them!!

Bella Hunt, is a sophomore and decided to be a one of Katelin’s New Member Ed helpers because she thought it would be fun to meet new members, and help them find their footing in the house!!

Philanthropy & sisterhood happens everyday here at Sigma Kappa!
Our girls may be using these tables for recruitment right now, but their purpose goes far beyond recruitment. Once it’s over, they’ll be donated to families in Spokane who have been affected by the fires. Giving back and supporting our community is at the heart of what philanthropy means to us. 🤍💜
