Poultry kids! ๐
Please read the information below for Poultry Testing for BOTH fairs this year. A ParentSquare was also sent out with more information. Please reach out to Johnson with any questions!
Planning to exhibit poultry at the Chelan County Fair or NCW Fair? Be sure your birds are tested before fair season!
All-Day Testing Event

Saturday, August 22
โฐ Check-in: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
๐ Chelan County Fairgrounds, Pavilion Building
5700 Wescott Drive, Cashmere, WA 98815
Directions: Use the livestock gates north of the Pavilion.
*Please attend this event only if you cannot make the August 22 testing day due to limited availability.

August 11
โฐ Check-in: 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
๐ Eastmont FFA Classroom
905 8th St NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802
Directions: Enter the parking lot across from the 4-Plex softball fields. Head up the ramp and follow the posted signs.
Testing Information

Waterfowl, doves, and pigeons do not need testing.
โ
All other poultry must be tested.
โ
Turkeys require a blood draw. Results should be available within a few days and in time for the NCW Fair, even for birds tested on August 22.

The owner does not need to be present. Please provide the following information for each exhibitor:

Test results are valid for both the Chelan County Fair and NCW Fair.
Suggested donation: $1 per animal to help cover testing costs.
