The WSU Oboe Camp is open to grades 7-12 (including students just entering 7th grade and those who have just graduated from 12th). Oboists, English horn players will work with Dr. Keri McCarthy (oboe, WSU) as well as guest artists and other outstanding Washington State University faculty members to improve their musical skills. The Oboe Camp will focus on group techniques and reed making classes,
private lessons, and chamber music playing and coachings. Students may also have the opportunity to participate in jazz improvisation, music theory and history, and composition classes. We have a great faculty and energetic counselors.
