That’s a wrap on the CASE Animal Science Institute at WSU! A huge thank you to our lead teachers, Corineah Williams and Alex Grimes, for an amazing week of learning, collaboration, and growth. We loved connecting with agricultural educators across the state and nation, sharing ideas, strengthening our teaching skills, and becoming CASE certified in Animal Science! Safe travels to everyone, and we can’t wait to see the impact you will make in your classrooms this year! 🐄💚

Pullman gave us a beautiful day for Day 1 CASE Animal Science Institute! Thanks to lead teachers Corineah Williams and Alex Grimes for kicking off our time together and to ag teachers from across the state and nation for building our community quickly! Looking forward to 4 more days of building relationship, building knowledge, and honing teaching skills!

We couldn’t agree more! WAAE Summer Conference brings together our ag education family for a week of celebration, learning, growth, and good times! Thank you to Brian Ellis and his officer team, District 7, and the Omak, Okanogan, and Tonasket communities for hosting us this week. Special shout out to our WSU Ag Ed students who served as interns and made sure conference went smoothly.

Dean Khosla joined JD, Dr. Warner, and Miguel to bring greetings to ag teachers from across the state at the Washington Association of Agricultural Educators’ summer conference in Okanogan this morning. We appreciate his support of agricultural education and his commitment to strengthening Washington’s future through agriculture.

Shwoooo! WA FFA Convention feels like a blur! We love hosting convention on campus each year and are excited to have had over 3,000members and guest on campus this year.

Convention would not have run nearly as smoothly (especially for Dr. Warner and JD) without this amazing crew of Ag Ed students supporting it! These students coached teams, ran delegate business, judged, ran support, tallied score, ran errands, and did some less than glamorous (and even sticky) jobs behind the scenes. Most importantly, they represented us well as they shared their passion for students and ag ed with the people they served through the week. Please join us in thanking them for their hard work!

We love that this group is so big, we could not fit them all in the perfect frame. It actually makes us love this picture even more!

You get cards at the CAHNRS table at the expo, by attending the Step Up to the Plate Workshop from 1-2 today and tomorrow in Todd Hall, by participating in the Ag Ed CDE as a teacher or student, or by chatting with one of the 30 featured ag teachers!

Over the past 4 years, these students have been poured into by professors, advisors, classmates, the ag ed program, and ag teachers from across the state. They have learned, grown, and matured. Most importantly they have taken the knowledge and skills they’ve received and poured into others by helping to host WAFFA contests, interning, TAing, serving student organizations, supporting one another, and influencing their students. We look forward to watching how they continue to serve their future students, schools, communities, and the agricultural field. Please congratulate them on their success! Go Cougs!
