It’s been 7 years since we painted our bay doors and panels, so it’s time for a refresh. Here's an image of what the final result will look like. Painting started today and will continue off and on for the next 2-3 weeks.

☀️ 🌴 😎 🌺 Our Summer Send Off event was a hit today! Co****le, scavenger hunt, trivia, hot dogs, walking tacos, ice cream and good times were had!

We also honored our SkillsUSA medalists and officially presented President Whitehead with our Gold Chapter of Distinction banner as one of three institutions who received the honor nationwide!

Students-best of luck as you wrap up your trimester and we hope you have a GREAT break! A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped!!! ☀️ 🌴 😎 🌺

✨ Meet TCAT Pulaski’s Newest Cosmetology Instructor — Sydney Hallmark Smith:

"Hey y’all! I’m Sydney, and I feel incredibly blessed to be joining the TCAT Pulaski family as its newest Cosmetology Instructor!

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 6 years and a makeup artist for 13 years, but teaching has truly become one of the greatest joys of my career. I have a heart for helping students grow in their skills, build confidence, and prepare for successful careers in the beauty industry. One of my favorite parts of teaching is building meaningful relationships with my students and being involved in SkillsUSA. This past year, I was incredibly honored to be named Tennessee SkillsUSA Advisor of the Year at the State Leadership Conference!

Outside of the classroom, you can usually find me spending time with my wonderful husband, Hunter, our sweet pups, Honey and Huck, our family and friends—or somewhere fishing enjoying my favorite pastime!

I’m so thankful for the experiences and opportunities that have led me here. God has blessed me beyond what I could have imagined, and I’m so excited for this new chapter at TCAT Pulaski! I can’t wait to meet my students, pour into them, and see all that this year has in store!" ✨

We're grateful for the opportunity to connect our students with industry leaders who are helping shape the future of agriculture!

A special thank you to John and Dana Bryan of TN Valley Commodities, LLC for hosting our Precision Agriculture Technology students today for the first of two visits scheduled during this harvest season.

During the visit, students gained valuable insight into commodity markets and how producers can strategically use market information to maximize returns on their investments. They also learned about the importance of managing inputs efficiently, reducing costs where possible, and making data-driven decisions to improve profitability.

Experiences like these provide students with a real-world understanding of the business side of agriculture and help prepare them for successful careers in the industry.
