It is with deep regret that we announce: Melissa Kay Dillon Kyle, age 55, a resident of Athens, AL, died on Wed., March 11, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital Medical Center Main, Huntsville, AL. She worked as a waitress at Waffle House, until her health failed.

She was born in Nashville, TN to Clarence Dillon and Brenda Russ, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a loving daughter, Christy Kyle and husband, Adam Sr., Athens, AL, two brothers, Mark Dillon and Bill Poteete, and wife Michelle, two Step-brothers, Joey Tyler and Rickey Tyler, one step-sister, Donna Hodges, three grandchildren, Adam Kyle, Jr., Barbara Kyle and Jerry Kyle, four great grandchildren, Mason Ratliff, Chase Ratliff, Jahrie and Prudence Burks, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.

Elder Sabona S Trimble, age 87, was the son and only Child of the late William Henry Trimble and Lola Scott Crosby Trimble, departed this earthly life on February 21, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Williamsport, TN. He was a member of Carver Smith High School's class of 1956 and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He worked for General Motors while residing in Oakland, CA. After returning to Tennessee he was an employment counselor for the State of Tennessee until he retired. He was a gifted pianist and saxophone player.

A Service of Love will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Mt Calvary Missionary Baptist Church's Educational Annex, Glade Street Columbia, TN, the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. The Funeral Service will follow. Burial is scheduled to take place in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery McCory Lane Pegram, TN.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a half sister, Mrs. Ella B. Cathey, Columbia, TN, His cousins, whom he considered as his siblings; Pam Crosby, Michelle Walker, Wayne Stovall, His very close cousin and care giver, Michael G. Webster,Jerry W. Claudia Winrow, age 78, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00am at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Sulligent, AL. Supt. Murry R. Johnson to officiated. A memorial Service was held in Columbia, TN at Bellafant Tabernacle Church, Columbia, TN at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025, with Bishop Terry L. Haynes, Eulogist. Burial will be in Ebeneezer Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, TN on Sat., Jan. 3, 2026.
