Gloria Ann Smith Burkeen Duke, age 73, transitioned Sat., Sept. 19, 2026 at Williamson Medical Center, Franklin, TN The family will receive friends between 11 am and 12 NOON on Thursday Sept 24 at Mt Lebanon MBC Columbia TN. At 12 NOON , The Celebration Of Life Service begins with Pastor Kenny L Anderson, Sr., Eulogist. Gloria Ann Smith Burkeen Duke was born January 7, 1953, and was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Hutchinson Smith; her father, John Henry Smith; her son, Sidney Burkeen; her daughter, Tracy Burkeen; her stepson, Jarvis Birdsong; her brother, Joseph Lewis Smith; her grandparents, James and Luxenia Hutchinson and Linnie Mae Smith; her cousin, whom she affectionately called Aunt Betty McClain; her uncle, L. C. Hutchinson; her niece, Sherry Baxter; her cousin, Terry Hutchinson; and Elwin Smith (Uncle Jig) and Alonzo (Pappy) Hutchinson.
Gloria was a proud 1970 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Clerk of Session, Ordained Elder, choir member, and church secretary. She was also a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her passing.
Gloria was devoted to her family and friends. She loved planning and participating in family gatherings, and family reunions held a special place in her heart—she never wanted to miss one. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, cake decorating, and baking cakes.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her children, Fredrick Dewayne Burkeen; Rodney Clark Burkeen (Christy); Cindy Burkeen; and Jessica Burkeen Pye (Kelvin); stepdaughters, Crystal Danyale McKinney and Chasity Matthews (Demond), along with their children; stepson, Waynon Duke; and the Duke family.
She also leaves her sister, Deborah Smith Alexander (Louie); sister-in-law, Yvette Smith; and her beloved grandchildren, Shaquareuna Pye, Neriah Pye, Ke'Tavius Dudley, Keivarian, Azhinaye Barner, Ethan Braden, Jay Pillow, Haniyah Baugh, Howard Burkeen, Sanchez Burkeen, Christopher Kelly, Candace Kelly, Breeon Otey, Kelly Smith, Tiyahra Smith, Trakaya Burkeen (Candice Tidwell), Kiyahra Pierce, and Royze Pierce (Karson). Her legacy also continues through her 15 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Gloria is further cherished by Aunt Joy, Barretta Keene, and Aunt Norma Hutchinson; devoted nephews, Joey and Laron Smith; devoted cousins, Debra Burkeen and William Howard Smith; nieces Tammy, Connie, Ebony, Judine, Bettina, and Angie; nephew Reggie; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sharon Sue Ingram White, age 85, departed this life on May 14, 2026, at her Lynnville, TN residence. She was a native of Coffeville, Kansas and a retired Missionary. She was preceded in death by her husband Monroe Carlton White.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Richland Baptist Church 10930 Columbia Highway Lynnville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Sidney Burkeen and Jarvis Birdsong, father, Lossie Charles Burkeen, III, grandparents, Lossie Burkeen, Jr., Mamie Renfro Burkeen, John Henry Smith and Dorothy Hutchinson Smith, Step father, Carl Wayne Duke, uncles, Jerry Burkeen, Barry Burkeen, and Joe Smith, and first cousin, Sherry Baxter.

Kenneth James McGlocklin age 65 went to his heavenly home on August 5,2026 at Skyline Hospital in Nashville TN. He will be remembered as a hardworking man, working on a farm or working at Magnetti he believed in giving 100%, and would do whatever he could to help others. Kenneth loved God, his fur baby Bella (Bell Bell), his life partner Diana, his children, grandchildren and great grand-kids, step kids and step grand-kids. Kenneth loved sitting outside looking at the flowers and watching nature and listening to music.
He's survived by: Life Partner Diana Miller, Brother Terry (Cheryl) McGlocklin. Children: James McGlocklin, Josh Matthews, Jessica McClendon, James (Trish) McClendon, Ashley (Adam) North,
