Heaton Middle School

Representing the Class of 2030, 173 eighth graders celebrated the end of the middle school journey in the annual continuum ceremony.

Our 8th graders had a great time at their end of year dance! Be sure to join us tonight at East for the 8th grade continuum.

Today we said farewell to our 2025-2026 ambassador team on announcements. With their departure, we welcome a new set of ambassadors for the 2026-2027 school year. Things will be a little different, and we will have representation from all grade levels, next year.

8th grade science students prepared for their upcoming field trip to the Royal Gorge by building suspension bridge models out of cardboard , rubber bands, and twine. They tested how much weight they could hold and did a great job!

Today, Hawks explored future opportunities during a Career Fair designed to connect students with a variety of career pathways.

Community partners representing fields such as medical, law, beauty, law enforcement, manufacturing and more met with Hawks eager to learn about different professions and the education and credentials needed to pursue them.

The event was organized by Advocate Anna Hancock.
