Calling ALL Heaton students!
If you have a passion for art, we would love to see your submissions for the 8th Annual CAGT Student Art Contest. This year's theme is "Cultivating the Extraordinary." Submissions are due by September 10th to Ms. Woodka in Room 40! If you are not in an art class, you will need an art permission slip that you can get from Ms. Woodka. Last year our own 7th grader La'Monte Silvas made it to the finals and two D60 high schoolers placed in the competition, so let's give it our best shot again this year Hawks!

Students! You've been asking, and The Study Spot will start back up on Monday, August 31st, in ROOM 42. If you need to catch up on work, have questions on an assignment, or just want to use extra time in your school day to get your work done, come to The Study Spot during lunch! This is especially helpful for any students who ride the bus and cannot attend after school tutoring. Drop off your binder in room 42, sign in on the ipad, then go get lunch so you can eat and work. Reach out to Ms. Anna with any questions.

Heaton students! Put your artwork on display at this year's PCCLD Tween/Teen Art Show! Drop off your work at any library branch (Barkman library is less than 5 minutes from us!) by August 30th to participate. Reach out to Ms. Woodka (room 40) or Ms. Anna (media center) with any questions!

Attention Families!! We will be hosting our Open House on Wednesday, September 2nd from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Families will have the opportunity to tour the school, meet teachers, and talk to various resources. We can't wait to see you there!

The Heaton Hawks will have a float in the Colorado State Fair parade on Saturday, August 29th. All students MUST have a completed permission slip to join us on the float!

✏️First day of school 2026-2027✏️
Our Heaton staff and students are off to an amazing start! We were able to acquaint all students with the school and procedures during class meetings, PBIS tours, etc. We can't wait to see everyone again tomorrow. Remember that if you show up and work hard, you will get better!
