All of us here in the Lion’s Den want to give a huge shout-out to Dave Baldonado with Dave’s Hardwood Floors and More LLC and his incredible crew—Tyler, Linus (former Lion), AJ, Emery, and Felix for all of their hard work on our gym floor!
We truly appreciate your attention to detail, precision, craftsmanship, and pride in your work. You took on this project and treated our gym floor like it was your own. The time, effort, and care you put into making our gym look amazing did not go unnoticed.
Thank you for helping us create a gym that our students, athletes, staff, alumni, and community can be proud of for years to come!

We had a great time welcoming our 6th graders to Pleasant View today! 💜💛 A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Maez and our amazing STUCO crew for organizing such a fun day filled with activities, connections, and plenty of team building!

SCHOOL TRAFFIC ALERT - Please be aware of a CDOT lane shift and detour at US 50C (Business) and Baxter Road due to culvert repair work.

The eastbound lanes of US 50C are closed at Baxter Road, with lane shifts and detours in place in both directions. The changes are expected to add 5–7 minutes to travel time, so please plan for extra time during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. CDOT expects the work to be completed by noon Wednesday, August 12.

Please see the attached CDOT map for detour information and follow posted signs and directions.

Thank you for your patience as we get the school year underway, and please use extra caution when traveling through the work zone. Keeping our families safe is our first priority.

It was a great first day back with the Lion Team! 🦁
The energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork were evident from the moment we came together. It's exciting to see our staff already working together to make this an incredible year for our students.
We can't wait to welcome our incoming 6th graders on Monday, August 10, and the rest of our student body on Tuesday, August 11. It's going to be a fantastic year at Pleasant View Middle School!
