Let’s continue to keep the Beulah community in our thoughts and prayers❤️
From Janelle Griffin, a teacher at Beulah School. Please message her if you would like to donate to students in this K-8 school. Thank you! ❤️
As many of you know, I work at the school in Beulah, Colorado. I want to start by saying how incredibly grateful we are for the outpouring of support, donations, meals, and resources our community has provided. It has meant so much to the families affected by this tragedy.
As school staff, we are working hard to keep track of each of our students and understand their individual needs. Some of our students have lost everything.
While parents are understandably focused on finding housing, replacing necessities, and simply surviving, I also know how important the little things can be for a child’s heart and sense of normalcy. Things like LEGO sets, books, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, sensory items, art supplies, craft kits, and other age-appropriate activities can provide comfort, distraction, and a sense of security during an incredibly difficult time.
One student lost a LEGO collection they had spent ten years building. Stories like that remind us that children grieve the loss of the things that brought them joy, too.
If you would like to help by donating these types of items specifically for our students, I would be honored to help make sure they get into the hands of the children who need them. Please send me a message if you’d like to help.
Thank you for continuing to love and support our Beulah community. ❤️
