Attention Wildcats!

The following message is about returning your device:

On Thursday, June 4th, students will have three options regarding their school-issued device:

1. Turn in their device after their 7th ​period final on Thursday.
2. Keep their device over the summer.
3. Keep their device if they are enrolled in summer school.

Students choosing to return their device on Thursday​, June 4th, should report to the following locations immediately after their 7th ​period final:

• 9th Grade – 4th Floor Media Center
• 10th Grade – 3rd Floor Media Center
• 11th Grade – Auditorium

Please make sure your device and charger are returned at that time if you are not keeping your device for the summer or summer school.​ If a student keeps his/her device/charger, the student is responsible for any loss/damage over the summer.

Welcome to our Last Week of School!

9th, 10th and 11th Graders, attached to your email is the Schedule for the End of the Year Finals...ALL STUDENTS MUST TAKE THEIR FINALS...Finals BEGIN on Tuesday, June 2nd and END on Thursday, June 4th!

Students MUST TURN IN THEIR DEVICE after their last final on Thursday...if students are attending Summer School, then they will keep their device...remember, students are responsible for lost or damaged devices/chargers.

Let's finish this week STRONG...tomorrow is a regular day, and again, FINALS begin on Tuesday!

Join us this Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. as we officially cut the ribbon on our new soccer practice facility! Come help us celebrate the many partners, supporters, and contributors who helped turn this vision into a reality for our student-athletes. We look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to incoming junior Sophia Perez, who returns to Team Mexico 16U softball team, joining other standout athletes of Hispanic descent to compete in an annual tournament against teams representing other nations around the world.

Additionally, Sophia received the 2026 Pueblo Softball Hall of Fame "Tony Bobian Memorial" High School Girls Softball MVP Award.

She is pictured with her trainers, Tony Harrison and Jackson Dickerson.

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT PROFILE
Sofia Gonzales, Pueblo Central High, earned a $120,000 Hurliman Scholarship and the Josephine Perkins Memorial Scholarship.

She will attend Colorado College to major in biology in hopes of one day becoming a plastic surgeon.

“Central has prepared me for what’s next by giving me opportunities to grow, take risks, and discover what I’m capable of,” she said. “The experiences I’ve had there have helped me build confidence, step outside my comfort zone, and better understand my goals for the future.

“I’m grateful for all of the amazing teachers and staff who have to helped me along the way.”

Congratulations to the following Wildcats for post season honors in the South-Central League. Additionally, junior Ben Perko was selected to play in the state Junior All Star Game in Colorado Springs.
