Hello Wildcats and Wildcat Families!
This is your Weekly Update:
🏆 Great Job and Good Luck
Great job to ALL of our Athletics and Activities last week, and GOOD LUCK this week!
📚 1st Quarter Ends This Thursday
The 1st Quarter ends this Thursday! Final grades for the first nine weeks will be available on Infinite Campus after 2:30 PM on Friday. Make sure you are checking your grades and getting everything completed before the quarter ends!
💙 Homecoming Guest Forms Due Tuesday, October 20th
If you are bringing a guest from another high school to our Homecoming Dance, you MUST have a Guest Form completed and signed by your guest's high school principal.
The completed form MUST be submitted to the Activities Office by Tuesday, October 20th, at 4:00 PM.
Please understand that if the form is not turned in by the deadline, your guest will NOT be allowed to attend our Homecoming Dance. NO EXCEPTIONS!
📝 Practice PSAT/SAT Testing This Wednesday
This Wednesday, students will take a Practice PSAT/SAT test. We have adjusted our schedule for Wednesday, and the updated schedule is attached to your email.
We want our students to have opportunities to practice before taking the actual state assessment in April 2027. These practice tests will help students become more comfortable with the testing process and understand what to expect.
During last Thursday's class meetings, we discussed the importance of taking the state assessments seriously. We also announced a special Homecoming incentive!
🎟️ Homecoming Incentive
Students who show up on Wednesday and give their BEST effort on the practice test will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE Homecoming Dance admission ticket!
Seniors, you are included, too! All seniors who show up to school on Wednesday will also be entered into the drawing for a FREE Homecoming Dance admission ticket!
🎓 Important Information for Seniors
Seniors do not take state assessments. However, please pay close attention to the following expectations for Wednesday:
Seniors who need to take the WorkKeys test to meet graduation requirements MUST attend school on Wednesday.
Seniors enrolled in APEX courses MUST attend school on Wednesday to work on their coursework.
All other seniors will work independently to ensure they have everything completed by Friday, the end of the 1st Quarter.
