The Writing Room is open and ready to help you manage your classwork in whatever form it may take. We are available for face-to-face, synchronous online, and asynchronous online sessions via the Online Writing Lab. 🦉

Hey, summer students! The Writing Room is open (with minimal staff and limited hours) and ready to support you with any writing assignment you're working on via the following fully online methods:

1. Live drop-in tutoring via Discord at https://discord.gg/vypQGgV. Come say hi and request a writing tutor Monday through Thursday, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

2. Email-based feedback via the Online Writing Lab (OWL) at https://csupueblo.edu/owl.

You don't have to face writing a paper alone! Let a tutor offer you some feedback and guidance. 😁👍

New update regarding the Writing Room's services! Effective immediately, the Writing Room will offer two completely online ways of supporting you:

1. Live drop-in tutoring via Discord
Join us in our new Discord server during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00) at the following link: https://discord.gg/vypQGgV. Create a name for yourself, and then say hi! Chime in with a request to chat with a tutor about a piece of writing you're working on, and a tutor will contact you to initiate a personal interaction.

2. Email-based feedback via the Online Writing Lab (OWL)
Submit a short piece of writing to us through the OWL, and a tutor will send it back to you in a couple of working days with comments, suggestions, and feedback in the margin of your paper. More information and details about the OWL at https://www.csupueblo.edu/owl.

As per the campus shutdown, the Writing Room is moving to strictly online services until the end of the semester (though we will be closed for Spring Break!). Please feel free to continue submitting your writing to our OWL (www.csupueblo.edu/owl), as our staff will continue to work remotely to keep providing our services to anyone who needs them. Please do what you can to ensure the safety of yourselves and those around you; these are hard times, but we are sending all the love and support we can to our Thunderwolf community. ❤️🐺

Adriane is a first-year political science student with a minor in legal studies. She’s been a great asset to the Writing Room and plans to stay with the team for the remainder of her time here at CSU-P.
