Hello Longhorn Families! This is Mrs. Martindale, your proud school principal, with your flight plan for the Week of August 24th–27th!
We had an absolutely awesome first week of school! Our "World Travelers" successfully completed their first expedition, diving into team-building activities and exploring our school's daily routes and procedures. Our Back-to-School Parent Night was also a huge success. Thank you to all our parents and travelers who attended, and a huge shout-out to our amazing PTO for providing Shiver and Shake ice cream!
Please review these important rules of the road:
Morning Check-In: Students should not arrive at the school before 7:40 a.m. There is no supervision on duty before this time.
Afternoon Departure: Students must be picked up by 3:45 p.m. Sticking to this schedule is critical to ensuring a safe arrival and departure for everyone.
Loading Zones: Please do not park your vehicle in the front or back "Drop-and-Go" lanes. These are active runways meant to keep traffic flowing. If you need extra time to say goodbye in the morning or gather your traveler in the afternoon, please park across the street and walk over to the school.
