Good Afternoon, Bradford Families,

📚🍎✏️Teacher Appreciation is this week! Please join us in celebrating our amazing teachers throughout the week.

🛸Students can also wear their favorite Star Wars attire tomorrow on Monday, May 4th.

❌Boys and Girls Club is closed on Monday. Please ensure your child is picked up after school at our regular dismissal time.

🏫We also have staff meeting on Monday after school so our office will be closed at 3:15 PM.

🎭Only Performing Club will meet after school this week on Wednesday afternoon. GT Enrichment and Soccer Enrichment are finished for the year.

⚽️Please be on the look out for the YMCA Unified Soccer permission slips that will be sent home. Soccer games will start next Tuesday on May 12th.

🎳🛼Students in our ESS programs have a field trip on Wednesday to Bowlero Lanes and 3rd Grade will have field trip on Thursday to Skate City.

📝We also have our PreK Transition Meeting for our Preschool families on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Media Center.

✂️📓🖍️We will also have a school supply give away on Thursday afterschool, first come, first serve.

🥰Lastly, thank you to all of our Eaglets and staff who went out of their way to celebrate me last week for Principal appreciation week! I sincerely appreciate all of the thoughtful notes, gifts, and jovial pranks from each and everyone of you! Thank You, Mrs. Padilla

🧪🎭⚽️GT Enrichment will meet on Tuesday, Performing Club on Wednesday, and Soccer Enrichment for 3rd-5th on Thursday after school.

🎳✈️Student Council has a field trip with our First Graders on Monday. 4th Graders have a field trip on Wednesday.

💫Student Council is also hosting a Make-A-Wish fundraiser on Wednesday. Students may have a free dress day for a $2 donation.

🍫🍭There will be an after school snack sale on Thursday afternoon.

🐻Park View Elementary would like to you join them on Thursday evening for their Meet and Greet Community event for Bradford families starting at 4:30 PM.

🥳We also had a fantastic time celebrating our CMAS completion with our color run last week and also celebrated our beloved Mrs. Alysa Johnson for Administrative Assistant Appreciation Day!

🙌There is only one more session of the Science CMAS assessment left for our fifth grade scholars! They will finish their final session tomorrow morning. We are proud of the diligent effort all of our 3rd-5th grade students have put into their Reading and Math assessments these last two weeks!

👩‍⚖️Student Council will meet on Monday after school.

🧪🎭⚽️GT Enrichment will meet on Tuesday, Performing Club on Wednesday, and Soccer Enrichment for 3rd-5th on Thursday after school.

🏃‍♀️🏃To celebrate the hard work of our 3rd-5th graders, all K-5 students will participate in a color run at 2:15 on Thursday. Students will be provided with a free t-shirt and goggles.

💻Our 3rd-5th Grade scholars will continue with their Math CMAS State Assessment Monday and Tuesday, and our 5th graders will start the Science Assessment on Wednesday this week. It is extremely important that they sleep well each evening and arrive at school on time. Testing sessions will be from 8:00-10:30 AM.

🧪🎭⚽️👩‍⚖️After school clubs will continue this week with GT Enrichment on Tuesday, Performing Club on Wednesday, and Soccer Enrichment for 3rd-5th on Thursday. Student Council will also meet on Thursday morning at 7:35 AM.

🌎Thursday’s free spirit day is Blue & Green Day for Earth Day.

🐧Thursday is also our Quarter 4 Family Engagement Night at the Pueblo Zoo. Please join us from 4:30 6:00 PM at the Pueblo Zoo. Reach out your child’s teacher or call the office if you have not RSVPed for your family.

Did you know many students automatically receive a $120 Summer EBT food benefit?

Based on information from Household Income Forms submitted at school, many families will receive this benefit automatically, which can be used to purchase food such as fruits, dairy products, bread, meat, poultry, and fish at stores that accept SNAP, as well as online.

Students may be eligible if they:
-- Attend a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program and qualify based on household income
-- Live in a household that receives SNAP or Colorado Works
-- Receive Medicaid and meet National School Lunch Program income guidelines
-- Are in foster care, are migrant students, or are experiencing homelessness

💻Tomorrow is also the last day to register your child for a school choice application for the 2026-2027 School Year. Please come into our office on Monday if you need help completing this online application.
